Jonathan, it's great to finally read your entries. Your description of waking up on the first morning in Kyrgyzstan is great. An amazing beginning to what will be an amazing two years. I look forward to keeping up with you experience.

Great posts, Peas. Missing you lots around here. Sounds like they're getting you right in there. I love the part about the barbeque & the goat skinning - I remember being in Ukraine and our host folks taking us to a 'forest picnic/barbeque'. Pretty much like how we do it up here except they just drove to some spot in a forest somewhere and set up shop for the afternoon. Seems extra nice, for some reason, to partake in an event that's somewhat familiar in it's own cultural context. Anywho, it's really, really nice to read about your life over there - leaves me smiling & excited for you.

Dear Jonathan; I read your blog all the way to the end and haven't had that much fun in a long time. You have a wonderful writing style, much wit and adjective embellishments. Thanks for attaching your Kyrgyzstan entries to your old blog so I could read it all. It keeps you closer somehow. I continue to pray for you and ask God's care for you and those you encounter. I'll look forward to hearing more.
